With an extensive background in (ideally) both PPC and SEO, you will have worked your way up from being at the operational level, managing execution and delivery of campaigns, and at some stage you will have held a client services or account management role. Whilst you will now be at the strategic level of Search Marketing, it would be preferable if you have not only the blue sky thinking around SEM and how it can work for clients/brands, but also you have retained the hands-on skills to still know how to get involved in helping out the team with campaign managment.
